TWINUP4CE

The TWINUP4CE projekt fundamental objective of the TWINUP4CE project is to respond to one of the most pressing challenges facing peripheral and rural areas in Central Europe: the growing gap between labor market supply and economic demand. The competitiveness of these regions is currently seriously threatened by a lack of skilled labor, emigration, and low levels of digital and environmental awareness. The project therefore identifies specific skills gaps in rural areas and develops tailored, flexible education and retraining packages, with a particular focus on the green and digital ("dual") transition. The project creates a multi-stakeholder solution called Regional Upskilling Management Alliances (RUMA), which coordinate training provision with local development plans.
