We are delighted that the TalentA program, implemented by our cooperative partner, the Hungarian Women’s Union , within the framework of our Grandis project, has been included among the good practices of the Interreg Europe program! The Hungarian Women’s Union Association, together with various civil organizations, has been working for years to ensure that knowledge, experience, and community strength reach the everyday lives of rural women.
This recognition means that the program has been included among European good practices as an exemplary initiative at an international level – as a project related to regional development policy that has achieved tangible and measurable results and can be inspiring for other regions.
What is the TalentA Program?
The TalentA Hungary Program supports the development of women working in the rural and agricultural sector through training, mentoring, and community knowledge sharing.
The initiative first launched in Hungary in November 2021, with the participation of 29 female farmers from 17 counties. During the 17-online-lecture training, participants were able to develop their leadership, entrepreneurial, financial, and agricultural knowledge with the support of renowned experts. 20 participants successfully completed the program, receiving a diploma, and were eligible to apply with their agricultural project ideas for a micro-project competition, where the top three winners received a total of 3 million 250 thousand Hungarian Forints in support.
In 2023, the Hungarian Women’s Union, in cooperation with CORTEVA Agriscience, launched this complex, innovative training and support project for the second time. The free, two-step program provided an opportunity for every woman engaged in or planning agricultural activity to develop professionally, build connections, and gain access to financial support.
Inspiring Hungarian Good Practice
The inclusion of the TalentA program among the good practices of Interreg Europe is a significant recognition not only for the Hungarian Women’s Union but also for the Grandis project, as our common goal is to strengthen the role of women in rural and economic life and to promote sustainable development.

The GRANDIS project is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund and Hungary within the Interreg Europe Program.
