The third transnational meeting of the OPTI-UP Interreg Central Europe project took place in Paks on 14-15 May 2025. The project, led by Ernst&Young in Croatia, primarily conducts public transport modelling of small and medium-sized settlements (Český Krumlov, Osijek, Grosuplje, Modena, Paks, Pécs) in the spring of 2025. This is fundamentally based on actual local public transport data and, based on that, formulates new variations regarding the current line network and its operation.

During a study tour organized at the Paksi Közlekedési Kft. premises on May 15, 2025, the partnership got to know the small town’s public transport network, its electric bus fleet, the employees of the company responsible for its operation, and the concept underlying the public transport. Similarly, during the entire two-day event, the Solaris electric buses of the Paks public transport company provided transportation for the OPTI-UP partners between various locations.
