On 14 October 2025, the South Transdanubian Regional Innovation Agency (STRIA) held its third stakeholder meeting of the Circular Minds (Interreg Europe) project in the impressive surroundings of the Baroque Castle of Hajós.
The professional event took place within the framework of the knowledge-sharing conference organised by the Central Danube Development Agency (CDDA) as part of the project “Supporting the Second and Third Pillars of the New Economic Policy Action Plan.” As an Associated Policy Authority in the Circular Minds project, CDDA plays an important role, and this joint event represented another step in strengthening professional cooperation between the two institutions.
The meeting was opened by Zsolt Pálmai, Deputy Managing Director of DDRIÜ, followed by Inez Fekete, Circular Minds Project Manager, who presented the project’s main objectives and achievements and moderated the professional session.
The programme focused on the practical implementation of circular procurement and ESG reporting. Andrea Baráth, Sustainability and CSR Manager, and Zsuzsanna Sándor-Majoros, Social Innovation Expert, discussed the role of municipal and corporate tools in achieving sustainability goals, while Tímea Varga, Responsible Accredited Public Procurement Advisor, illustrated the practical application of green procurement through real-life examples.
The CE-PRINCE project was also presented as a good practice, showing strong synergies with Circular Minds in the field of circular public procurement and awareness-raising.
In the closing discussion, participants explored how circular principles can be embedded in the everyday decision-making processes of local municipalities and businesses — underlining their shared commitment to a sustainable future.
The success of the event was greatly supported by the cooperation of CDDA and all participants — thank you for contributing to this meaningful exchange.

The Circular Minds project is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund and Hungary within the Interreg Europe Program.
