Our SME event took place on 27 November at the Pécs-Baranya Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The event gave attendees an insight into the developmental impact of marketing and IT working together.
Informed and data-driven marketing
Marketing expert Tímea Szilágyi spoke about marketing-centric website design. In her presentation, she pointed out that most small businesses have a lot of theoretical knowledge about marketing, but in practice only a few of them use the conscious marketing approach. The next session focused on data-driven marketing. Here the participants were given an overview of the valuable data that should be collected on the website. The data collected could then be used in the daily work of website development with indicators and indexes. The third marketing topic was Artificial Intelligence. Through some practical exercises, the entrepreneurs were able to learn about the marketing activities in which AI can be used effectively.
Planned processes
During the IT block, the User Story Mapping technique was presented by IT developer Kázmér Sarlós. Participants were shown how this powerful technique helps teams to understand and prioritise their tasks. How large companies use this tool to build a shared understanding and find out what is most important to their end users and target audience. Through practical examples, you will learn how this method can help small businesses create focused value.

Thanks for the participation!

The project is co-financed by the European Union and the Hungarian State within the framework of the Interreg Danube Region programme.
