DanubeCrafts<\/strong> respond to the common challenge of Danube region by addressing rich cultural heritage and unexploited potential of traditional crafts, customs, and rituals, together with the untapped potential of thematic tourism in Danube region.<\/p>

The project aims to change this situation through a multi-stakeholder jointly approach, through the preservation and development of traditional craft products and services with the support of thematic tourism \u201cinstruments\u201d.<\/p>

The overall objective of the project is to preserve, promote, and sustainably enhance traditional crafts along a \u201cTraditional Crafts Route\u201d, comprising several touristic itineraries (locations within local communities) with cultural and traditional attractions, to stimulate employment and broaden knowledge on generating new income streams for local craftsmen and artisans, with special attention to vulnerable groups and youth.<\/p>
