On 11–12 June 2025, the 3rd interregional meeting (GIM3) of the Interreg Europe GRANDIS project took place in Namur, Belgium, with the South Transdanubian Regional Innovation Agency (STRIA) participating as the project’s lead partner. The central focus of the event was the exchange of good practices and collaborative professional dialogue to support women entrepreneurs and promote the twin transition.

As part of the 2day programme, a Design Thinking workshop was organised, during which participants worked in small groups to co-develop potential solutions to key challenges hindering women’s entrepreneurial journeys. These challenges included weak support networks, limited access to women-focused funding opportunities, and cultural or societal barriers.

The agenda also featured the presentation of good practices, including insights into the Charleroi Entreprendre business development programme and the experiences of two successful female entrepreneurs – Céline Roisin (Sol-Ex) and Lola Brousmiche (Waste-End) – who are actively contributing to the green and digital sectors.

On the second day, project partners presented inspiring practices from their own regions aimed at supporting female entrepreneurship. STRIA invited Gabriella Sódar, representing the Blue Planet Foundation, to showcase the .wave Accelerator programme, which helps early-stage ventures offering sustainable solutions through networking, mentoring, and access to funding. The programme is particularly focused on addressing the challenges of climate change.

The event also welcomed Anita Szabó, Head of Department at the National Development Centre, attending as a representative of the Managing Authority of the GINOP+ Operational Programme, the targeted policy instruments by STRIA within the GRANDIS project.

The meeting contributed to international knowledge exchange and the development of public policies supporting women entrepreneurs, reinforcing STRIA’s commitment to this crucial agenda.
