Brussels Office - Mainpage

The Brussels Office was established in co-operation with the representation of the South-Transdanubian Regional Development Agency in the regional representative office of the Croatian Regional Development Agency of Slavonia and Baranja (with which the improvement of cross-border co-operations in the field of innovation is expected) in September, 2009. The office was used until 30 June, 2011 and from 1 July, 2011 the representation moved to a new office at the building of the Representation of the Regions of Hungary in Brussels. The primary goal of the office, working since September 2009, is to support the innovation activity of the region on the European level, to facilitate the connection to EU networks and the regional participation in research, development and innovation supporting programmes (especially the Framework Programmes) of the European Union, and to generate and develop international projects. The office provides personalized consultancy, project development and management, and networking services for the region’s organizations, research units and enterprises involved in innovation, especially in connection with the EU Seventh Framework Programme for Research and Technological Development (FP7), the Competitiveness and Innovation Framework Programme (CIP) and the INTERREG programme. Furthermore, the office provides space in Brussels for the organization of meetings, negotiations and study tours for EU-level co-operations and projects. Further objective is to create strong relationships and co-operation with the professional EU institutions, representations and networks. The latter supports the creation of actual projects through the continuous co-operation with the EU Directorates that are managing the sources of funding.
