On February 27, 2026, STRIA Nonprofit Ltd. organized an online stakeholder consultation focusing on road safety developments along the Hungarian sections of EuroVelo 6 and 14. The primary objective of the meeting was to present international cycling Good Practices that can serve as a foundation for shaping Hungary\u2019s upcoming PROMOTER action plan.<\/p>\n\n

The event demonstrated how strategic planning, practical expertise, and international inspiration can come together to support a shared goal: creating safer, more sustainable, and more liveable cycling environments.<\/p>\n\n

Broad Professional Participation<\/h4>\n\n

The consultation brought together representatives from the National Development Center, the Ministry of Construction and Transport, and the Ministry of Public Administration and Regional Development, as well as local government officials and mobility experts.<\/p>\n\n

This diverse professional background ensured that road safety was addressed from multiple perspectives, including infrastructure development, policy planning, local implementation, and mobility management.<\/p>\n\n
